Does your weight fluctuate? Are you constantly on the latest diet - paleo, Atkins, low-fat? Do you keep several sizes of clothes in your closet for your weight fluctuations? Have you gained weight without understanding how you've gained weight? Do you exercise excessively so you can eat what you want? If so, this group is for you!
Mindful eating replaces dieting rules and offers a healthy relationship with food instead. It help you recognize when you are hungry and when you are full. Mindful eating reduces anxiety about what you should or shouldn't eat.
In this class we will learn:
- to identify the types of hunger and how they impact our choice to eat.
- to identify the type of mindless eater we are.
- develop skills to be able to maintain a healthy weight, stop obsession about your food intake, increase your enjoyment when you do eat.
